DateVerdict evaluates product choices using public provider documentation, observable features, and a consistent scoring framework. We do not score the attractiveness of members or promise dating outcomes.
Profile depth
How well the product helps members express identity, intent, and useful conversation context.
Match intent
How clearly preferences and relationship goals can be stated, discovered, and respected.
Free experience
Whether a new member can understand the real product before being asked to subscribe.
Safety controls
The availability and clarity of blocking, reporting, verification, privacy, and safety guidance.
How the final score works
Each dimension is scored out of 10 and weighted equally. The displayed total is the arithmetic mean rounded to one decimal place; it is calculated from the four visible dimensions rather than entered as a separate editorial adjustment.
Features, prices, and policies change frequently. Each review displays its latest source-check date and links to the public pages used for factual claims. A provider cannot pay to change a dimension, total, verdict, or ranking.
What the numbers mean
Major friction, weak documentation, or essential controls missing from the evaluated experience.
Functional baseline with meaningful limitations that affect ordinary use or informed choice.
A solid experience with clear value and identifiable tradeoffs.
Unusually strong, well-documented control with only limited material drawbacks.
A high product score is not a prediction of personal success. Local activity, compatible intent, profile quality, and individual safety choices remain outside the score.
Evidence and reassessment
Provider documentation can establish stated features, policies, and controls. It cannot establish user outcomes. When direct observation is used in the future, the review will identify the platform, market, account type, and observation date.
A score is reassessed after a material change to free access, discovery, profile controls, safety tools, or the evidence supporting a dimension. Minor copy edits do not change the source-check date.

Hinge, Bumble, Tinder, Match, OkCupid. The set is intentionally small at launch so every page can be maintained.
